Media & Syndication
We collaborate with television broadcasters, radio stations, digital publishers, and national wire services to expand the reach of credible local journalism.
Republishing & Syndication Guidelines
Selected investigative and civic articles produced across the Bay Area News Network are available for republication by credentialed news organizations. To republish our reporting, partners must adhere strictly to our syndication requirements:
- Byline & Attribution: You must retain the reporter's original byline and clearly include the credit line: “Originally reported by [Publication Name] / Bay Area News Network.”
- Canonical Link: Digital republications must include a direct canonical link tag pointing directly to the original story URL on our publication site.
- Editorial Integrity: Stories may not be edited in ways that alter the factual meaning, context, or conclusions of the reporting. Headlines may be modified for length but must remain accurate.
- Photographs & Graphics: Rights to images and data visualizations must be confirmed individually; wire service photos or third-party rights do not automatically transfer.
Broadcast & Radio Segments
Our editors and beat reporters regularly appear on Bay Area television news broadcasts and radio programs to discuss local policy developments, school elections, and municipal investigations. To book a reporter or discuss an upcoming story, reach out to our syndication desk.
